The Oxford Hills School District is seeking excellent candidates for a Secretary in the Food Service Department. This is a 40 hours/week 52 week position.
Terms of Employment
Year Round/40 per week position - Hourly rate from $19.44-$23.26 per hour dependent on experience; position is under the Oxford Hills Educational Secretaries Contract which can be viewed here.

- Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) or able to obtain one
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency requiredH

- Experience as a secretary

REPORTS TO: Food Service Director
JOB GOAL: Assist the Food Service Director in providing for the effective and efficient operation of the Food Service Program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the District’s mission and goals.
- Receives and directs communications.
- Responds appropriately to requests for information.
- Welcomes callers, provides routine information and directs inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Contact substitutes as necessary.
- Completes projects as requested by the Food Service Director.
- Performs any bookkeeping, cash management and clerical tasks associated with the position.
- Prepares and makes orders for food and goods as authorized by the Food Service Director.
- Completes required reports and forms.
- Maintains good communications between central kitchen and satellite schools.
- Maintains and supports district point of sale (POS) systems.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Food Services Director.
