Description

The Oxford Hills School District is accepting applications for the Position Of Food Service Manager at The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris, ME.

 

Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School serves approximately 1100 students in grades 9-12.  The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students and work collaboratively.
 

Terms of Employment

School Year 176 day position - 7 hours per day - Hourly rate from $18.28 - $21.69 per hour dependent on experience; position is under the Oxford Hills Educational Support Personnel Association which can be viewed here.

Qualifications:   

  1. High School Diploma/ Equivalent
  2. Previous experience in food service preferred
  3. supervision experience preferred
  4. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
  5. Ability to apply technology to the performance responsibilities

The Food Service Director


Supervises:  Food service Assistants

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Supports the District’s mission and goals;
  2. Oversees the use of the kitchen by school staff and community members;
  3. Promotes excellent customer service;
  4. Approves and forwards food service expenditure warrants to the Central Office;
  5. Takes inventories and ensures proper food proper security of food storage and production areas, and monitors for waste and storage. 
  6. Prepares and sends supply orders and other required reports 
  7. Assigns and supervises Food Service Assistants
  8. Oversees the use of the kitchen by all school staff and community members;
  9. washes serving utensils, Pans and trays
  10. Performs any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Director
