The Oxford Hills School District is accepting applications for the Position Of Food Service Satellite Kitchen Manager at The Waterford Memorial School in Waterford, ME.
This is a Monday - Friday 4.75 hours per day and 23.75 hours per week. This position does not have benefits.
Waterford Memorial School is located in a small family community where boating, skiing, and hiking are at your fingertips. We serve approximately 100 students in grades PreK-2nd. The successful candidate will join a school community that works collaboratively to build relationships and develop engaging lessons both academically and socially to create lifelong learners.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ Equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- supervision experience preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
- Ability to apply technology to the performance responsibilities
Reports To:
The Food Service Director
Supervises: Food service Assistants
Performance Responsibilities:
- Supports the District’s mission and goals;
- Oversees the use of the kitchen by school staff and community members;
- Promotes excellent customer service;
- Approves and forwards food service expenditure warrants to the Central Office;
- Takes inventories and ensures proper food proper security of food storage and production areas, and monitors for waste and storage.
- Prepares and sends supply orders and other required reports
- Assigns and supervises Food Service Assistants
- Oversees the use of the kitchen by all school staff and community members;
- washes serving utensils, Pans and trays
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Director
