REPORTS TO: OHCHS Principal
JOB GOAL: To provide leadership, coordination, and advocacy for the school counseling department.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coordinate professional development for early release days, workshop days and department meetings 2. Prepares and maintains the School Counseling Department Budget 3. Creates the Master Schedule for OHCHS, including new courses, enrollments, course sections, teacher assignments, recapture classes, etc. 4. Oversee the implementation of assessments, including state and local testing, SATs, and Advanced Placement Exams 5. Oversee grading at OHCHS, including verification reports, report cards, transcripts, and summer school 6. NCAA clearinghouse coordinator 7. Maintain communications regarding the OHCHS School Counseling Department, including the Program of Studies, the OHCHS School profile, the School Counseling Department Website, and the events calendar 8. Coordinate trainings related to school counseling 9. Coordinate student recognition awards (Viking Corps, DAR, Boys/Girls State) 10. Serve as the OHCHS main point of contact for Infinite Campus 11. Oversee Early College 12. Oversee grants received by the School Counseling Department 13. Supervise the registrar 14. Co-Chair the HS Scholarship Committee 15. Collaborate with the registrar to implement the scholarship process, including the database management, letters, tracking, materials, Class Night, etc. 16. Coordinate with Homeless Liaison for McKinney-Vento students 17. Serve on the OHCHS Crisis Team 18. Other duties as assigned by the Principal
Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School serves approximately 1100 students in grades 9-12.

- Employing effective lesson design by adjusting to students’ personal learning needs and preferences, including appropriate technology applications.
